The goal of FIDA is to manage the care of patients, resulting in better overall health outcomes as well as better coordination of Medicare and Medicaid services. An Interdisciplinary Team, including a personal Care Manager, will assist participants in obtaining medical services behavioral health care, prescription and non-prescription drugs, as well as financial, social and educational services.

MetroPlus FIDA Plan is a managed care plan that contracts with both Medicare and the New York State Department of Health (Medicaid) to provide benefits of both programs to Participants through the Fully Integrated Duals Advantage (FIDA) Demonstration.
Enrollment in FIDA is dependent upon contract renewal and the service area included in the contract.
Limitations and restrictions may apply. For more information, call MetroPlus FIDA Plan Participant Services or read the MetroPlus FIDA Plan Participant Handbook. This means that you need to follow certain rules to have MetroPlus FIDA Plan pay for your services.
Benefits, List of Covered Drugs, and pharmacy and provider networks may change from time to time throughout the year and on January 1 of each year.
